Southland Safety has spent the last twenty plus years providing OSHA and DOT compliance consulting services—training, personnel, policies and procedures, online account management, etc. Client requirements, government oversight, and increased scrutiny have created an increased demand for a more proactive consulting service—Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC).

Over the course of the last several years, Southland has worked with operators and contractors to develop, implement, and manage QA/QC programs that are designed to ensure that their Safety, OQ, and Federal Motor Carrier policies, procedures, and work practices are compliant. After all, an efficient and compliant program will reduce operating costs by eliminating exposures, redundancies, and excess.

Quality Assurance

Southland will work with you to ensure that the policies, processes and standards established in your Quality Manual are efficient, compliant, and effective. Additionally, we will make certain that there are mechanisms in place to quickly identify and correct weaknesses in the process. Finally, we will work with you to properly implement the program with particular attention on the integration with existing policies, procedures, and work practices. While the objective, as stated, is compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness, the ultimate deliverable is the lift these programs will give to your entire workforce.

Quality Control

This is where the proverbial rubber meets the road. Once developed and implemented, your Quality Assurance/Quality Control program must be managed from both the office and the field, and we can help with or do both.
